Shoe size can be a complicated topic, did you know for example that there is no consistent size system? UK, EU and US sizes can all differ in practice due to various factors including how and where a shoe is measured, manufacture and the type of shoe.
Moshulu shoes are generally designed to be a touch wider than the high street. You can find our wide and narrow fitting shoes here.
We’d always recommend choosing your usual shoe size and going up a size for a half size that we don’t supply. If you’re still unsure then the very best way to tell which Moshulu size will be your best fit is to take advantage of our free returns service to try a couple of sizes on.
The table shows how we calculate shoe size, however this is never an exact science as it doesn’t account for instep height, width or arch height. For advice on high instep or high arches head over to our unique feet fitting advice page.

On each tall boot product page you'll find a guide to the height and calf size.
Calf circumferences are measured at the top of the boot, whatever its height, and do not include extra room provided by elasticated inserts.
If you're looking for boots specifically for wider calves, see our wide calf boots guide.
